„HARD TIMES“ is marketed throughout different social media platforms. Updates about the game, screens, and sample artwork are shared on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. More thorough updates can be read on the blog, and also the website. People will also see the game through posters in the city.
The posters will be put up at the beginning of the marketing campaign, to get people interested and lead them to other marketing channels, and at the end of the campaign to get people that have not seen it online yet, and make them aware that it is soon coming out, or remind people that saw the beginning posters too.
Around christmas, marketing material will be adapted to appeal to festive people. There will be special christmas/festive illustrations, a sale on merch as christmas presents.The festivities will be displayed as inclusive as possible, showing e.g. christmas trees and menoras, but also having some characters not celebrate.
